2 Arrested On Officer-Involved Shooting In Prince George's County

SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA9) --  Prince George's County Police arrested two men in connection with a residential robbery in Seat Pleasant from Thursday.

Police say 22-year-old Adrian Eugene Pitts and 19-year-old Afolabi Ijaoba, both of Capitol Heights, are charged with armed robbery, first degree burglary, first degree assault and other charges. Pitts is being held without bond while Ijaoba's bond is set at $70,000, according to police.

The two were reportedly involved in a shooting in the 6900 block Opal Place in Seat Pleasant in which a police officer fired her weapon.

According to police, officers responded to the scene for the report of a robbery at approximately 9 a.m.  Wednesday. They surrounded the house and an officer at the rear of the house encountered the suspects, say police. That's when she fired her gun, according to police.

Police say they recovered three guns at the scene.
