DUNKIRK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Calvert County Animal Control workers are trying to free a horse who is stuck in a stall at a location in Dunkirk, Md. on Tuesday morning.
An official says crews have been working on trying to help the horse for more than an hour in the 1900 block of Aberdeen Drive.
The official told us a chainsaw would be needed to cut the stall and rescue the horse. When Sky 9 flew over the scene, we were told that workers are hooking up a tractor, possibly to pull out the horse. Calvert County Animal Control officials now say the horse is still down inside the barn and has been given medication. They are waiting for more help.
