Police: Suspect Tried To Flush Cocaine Down Toilet During Bust

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police say one of three people later charged with drug-related offenses tried to flush baggies of suspect cocaine down a toilet on Wednesday night.

According to police, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, detectives executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 900 block of Victory Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Police say they saw one person flushing several baggies of suspected cocaine down the toilet. 

All the people inside the home were detained, say police, and detectives seized 6.32 grams of suspected cocaine, 30.74 grams of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Thirty-year-old Ryan John Barile, 27-year-old April Leigh Barile and 23-year-old James Steven Toney, all of Brooklyn Park, Md., were charged with drug related offenses.
