WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County police say a burglar hid in a Woodbridge Target until closing before robbing it.
Police got a call for an alarm at the Target in the 2400 block of Prince William Parkway at 3:29 a.m. Saturday. They say officers found a rear emergency door was ajar, and when going through surveillance video, they determined the suspect hid in the store before closing.
Video shows the young man, believed to be between 16 and 24 years old, using tools from the store to break into locked cabinets. He then fled with multiple iPads and other property, valued around $10,000, through the emergency exit which triggered the alarm.
The suspect is believed to be 5'10" tall and 130 pounds with a thin build and short brown hair. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and black sneakers at the time of the burglary.
