WASHINGTON (WUSA)-- Earvin "Magic" Johnson arrived at Howard University Hospital to a throng of media before meeting with students, residents, and other faculty to talk about his transformation from basketball star to businessman.
And he candidly addressed living with HIV for 22 years, and how he's been able to thrive. Johnson says his early diagnosis and adherence to an anti-viral drug regimen have allowed him to live a productive and successful life with a disease that was once a death sentence.
