WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- It's the time of year when many Americans are giving up on that New Year's resolution to lose weight and get in shape. Well, today we have some inspiration for you: she wrote a book called "Half My Size - How I Ate to Lose 150 Pounds."
Author Caroline Jhingory talked to us about how she weighed more than 300 pounds in 8th grade and what finally made her decide "enough is enough."
Jhingory also shared the tips or strategies that worked the best for her when losing weight. She's not helping others lose weight too through social media.
