Downed Tree Disrupts MARC Train Service Near Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WUSA) -- Officials say three MARC Trains are on hold near Gaithersburg, Md. due to a downed tree blocking the tracks.

MARC says the trees are believed to be about 50 yards north of the Washington Grove Station. One train is attempting to back up and off-load its passengers near the station.

Crews are working on removing the tree.

Metro is honoring all MARC Train tickets.
