WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A man was stabbed on a Metro bus in Washington on Wednesday evening, police said.
It happened at about 5:57 p.m. on a Metro bus in the area of 11th Street and H Street, Northeast, police said.
The victim was stabbed twice in the chest but was found conscious and rushed to a local hospital after the stabbing, Metro spokesperson Dan Stessel said.
The suspect is described as a 200 pounds, 5' 8" black male, wearing a black hat and black sweatpants. He was also carrying a black bag, police said.
