FALLS CHURCH, Va. (WUSA)--Officials arrested Ioan Cicio, 39, on Monday for stealing credit card information from ATM machines at local hospitals.
According to police, Cicio was charged with three counts of possession of credit card forgery devices, three counts of credit card theft, two counts of credit card fraud and one count of money laundering.
Police say Cicio was caught through a surveillance video he appeared in where he was seen with a compromised ATM card belonging to the Fairfax City officials.
Police say a search warrant was issued last Thursday for Cicio's home after officials received several reports from credit card fraud victims. Officials say when in Cicio's home, they discovered several credit card forgery devices, cameras and computers.
Cicio may face additional charges, and police say there may be more suspects involved.
