WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) -- It is ready, set, style and go time for the red carpet.
You have to look your best for the Inaugural balls. And salons in the area have been buzzing with activity.
Isabelle's Okyo Salon in Georgetown (pronounced like Tokyo but mostly everyone speaks French) has been in charge of 'shear' perfection for people like Marley Schneier heading to the official Presidential Inaugural Ball.
"I have a buddy that works in the White House so I'm going with them. I thought I'd go with the Kate Middleton look. It's not patriotic I know," she said.
Alexandra Caines is heading to the George Washington University Ball tonight.
"I've been waiting for this for 4 years, ever since I moved here. I made sure I had my appointment, hair style picked out," Caines said.
Christophe Saluzzo, stylist, said, "She's going to look stunning."
The salon is busy with primping for the Inaugural balls but it's been a-buzz about Michell Obama's bangs.
Saluzzo said, "I think it's going to be the future look of 2013. I love bangs."
