WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--Practice makes perfect.  Practice also makes for street closings and parking restrictions.  But, practice also means a great opportunity for some picture taking!

The ceremonial swearing-in and inaugural parade are not until Monday, January 21 but first there must be the rehearsal, which will be held Sunday, January 13.

The rehearsal will include run-throughs of the swearing-in ceremonies on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, the Presidential Review of troops on the East Front of the Capitol, and the Inaugural Parade along Pennsylvania Avenue.  U.S. military personnel will play the role of the President, Vice President and their wives.

This is a great opportunity for bystanders to get an up close and personal look at the festivities.  That is the good news.
