MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- A man recently released after being arrested for assault was arrested again after returning to the victim's home, say Prince William County police.
Thirty-one-year-old Daniel Walter Harrison of Herndon, Va. is charged with domestic assault and battery, assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and violation of a protective order following an incident on January 5.
According to police, Harrison was arrested at 2:32 a.m. that day for domestic assault after an argument escalated. A protective order was issued against him and he was released on an unsecured bond, say police.
After he was released, he went back to the victim's house and started banging on the windows and doors. Police responded to the house at approximately 5:30 a.m. and took him into custody. While in custody, Harrison is accused of kicking two officers.
Harrison was eventually detained, arrested and charged. This time, he is being held without bond, say police.
