WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Water is spilling out of a man hole in the 900 block of Brentwood Road in Northeast D.C. due to a defective valve, DC Water said.

Crews are currently working on the problem. It is expected the repair will take between six to eight hours. The water will be shut off for periods of time on Brentwood Road, between W and V Streets, NE due to the repairs.
