FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax County Police say that shortly before 1:45 a.m. Monday,  two vehicles collided on northbound Route 28 on the overpass at I-66. 

According to police, a 27-year-old man driving a pick-up truck hit the back of a tractor trailer was stopped at a red light. The pick-up truck burst into flames and the driver, identified as George Tabash of Centrevill, died at the scene.

Police say the tractor trailer driver, a 44-year-old man from Pennsylvania, was not injured.

Police continue to investigate whether speed or alcohol are factors in the crash.
