GWU Alerts: 5 Burglaries, 4 Dorm Rooms, 1 Day at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA)  - Five burglaries in four dormitory rooms took place on Thursday in the Ivory Tower Residence hall at George Washington University, according to a campus alert.

In each case, the students had left their dorm rooms open and the suspects entered the rooms, asking if "Erica" or "Angelica" lived there. The students later noticed that laptop computers were missing from their rooms.The rooms were on the 10th, 8th 7th and 5thfloors.

There are two suspects, according to the school's alert system.

The first is described as a black female, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-4 with a thin build, curly black hair, wearing a gray sweater, reading glasses and carrying a white shoulder bag.

The second suspect is also a black female, 5-7 with long black hair and a heavy build, wearing a black jacket, black t-shirt, dark green pants.

Both MPD and GWPD continue to search for the suspects. those who  see anyone matching the descriptions should call GWPD at 202-994-6111.
