SPRINGFIELD, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax police responded to Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, Va. on Tuesday for a reported sexual assault at about 12:30 p.m.
9 News' Peggy Fox says police are investigating another groper attack. For the second time, the victim was a juvenile.
The school is located at 6540 Franconia Road in Springfield, Va. The attack took place two blocks away from the high school.
Police believe the same man fondled or groped 11 other women in the Springfield area. The latest incident happened on Nov. 21, at the intersection of Amherst and Cumberland Avenues in Springfield.
The investigation into the serial groper's attacks is ongoing.
Peggy Fox reports that sources indicate that the victim chased the suspect after the attack, but the suspect was too fast. According to police, the suspect wore a red hat and a gray bubble jacket.
Police are hoping to put out a new more detailed description from this latest victim.
The suspect is described as a young man of Latino descent who has a slight build.
