WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Redskins fans are waking up happy Tuesday morning after the big win over the Giants on Monday Night Football. The final score was 17-16.
One of the best first-half highlights: Josh Morgan was in the right place at the right time, grabbing an RG3 fumble in mid-air and ran the ball into the end zone.
The Giants had a 16-10 lead in the 4th quarter, but Griffin tossed a touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon, who's been hurt most of the season.
The defense stopped Eli Manning when it counted, sealing the 17-16 Washington win.
The big win tightens the NFC East race and playoff hopes are still alive for the Redskins.
We caught up with a Redskins fan on Tuesday morning, who had this to say: "We['re] gonna make the playoffs, we're going to beat Baltimore and the next three games after Baltimore, we're going to sail home freely."
