LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Police say 28-year-old Brian Romberger of Bristow and 24-year-old Justin Easom of Manassas were sentenced on Monday for 22 car hopping and theft cases in Leesburg.
According to Leesburg Police, the men were already in the Prince William Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges. They were later identified as suspects in the cases spanning from Feb. 19 to Feb. 22.
Romberger pleaded guilty to charges of burglary, grand larceny and three counts of credit card fraud. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison with seven years suspended. In addition he will will serve three years of supervised probation and ten years of unsupervised probation. Romberger will need to pay full restitution totaling $3264.98 to the victims.
Easom pleaded guilty to charges of burglary, grand larceny and three counts of credit card fraud. He was sentenced to seventeen years in jail with nine years suspended. Easom will have to serve fiver years of supervised probation after his release and pay full restitution to the victims of $3264.98.
