BALTIMORE (WUSA) -- Baltimore police say a 2-year-old boy was found dead and his mother was found with her throat cut on Sunday.
Police say the woman is a "person of interest" in the death of her son on Sunday, but would not provide further details about what led to the child's death.
The 32-year-old mother was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. She underwent emergency surgery Sunday afternoon.
