(WUSA) -- Entertainment insider Jennice Fuentes talked to us about the biggest film opening this weekend: Killing Them Softly, starring Brad Pitt and co-starring James Gandofini and Ray Liotta.
USA Today gave the film 3 stars out of 4. There's a warning that this movie is not for the squeamish. The review concludes: "There's nothing touchy-feely about Killing Them Softly, a stylish thriller worth seeing -- despite its relentless violence -- for its sharp dialogue, mesmerizing photography and gritty performances."
If you like horror, then The Collection is for you. It's from the same people who made the popular Saw movie series. In The Collection, young people attend a party at a secret location only to find out it's booby-trapped. Only one woman survives and the rescuers trying to find her are getting picked off one by one.
Some reviewers are giving a thumbs up to the Indian suspense film Talaash. What appears to be an accident turns out be a crime, linking together the lives of a police officer, housewife, and a prostitute. We did find a critic who says the other strong film falters towards the end.
