Nicholas Grzegozewski, charged with assault & battery on law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, driving under the influence 2nd in 10 years, unreasonable refusal of breath test, possession of a firearm while intoxicated in Woodbridge
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- Police say a man suspected of DUI headbutted an officer while resisting arrest in Woodbridge on Wednesday night.
Thirty-one-year-old Nicholas Jack Grzegozewski of Woodbridge is charged with several offenses after he was taken into custody at Prince William Parkway and Reids Prospect Drive at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say Grzegozewski was stopped under the suspicion of DUI and officer determined he had been drinking. When they tried to take him into custody, police say he actively resisted and head-butted an officer, causing minor injuries. When his vehicle was searched, police say they found a handgun.
According to the charges, it isn't the first time Grzegozewski has been charged with DUI. Here are the charges against him:
