Vickie Jenkins with her check (Virginia State Lottery)
(WUSA) -- Virginia Lottery officials say that a Culpeper woman found out she had won $1 million after hearing news that a ticket in her state had won in the Saturday drawing.
Vickie Jenkins thought the numbers she heard sounded familiar so she looked at her ticket. She saw that she had the winning ticket.
The winning numbers in Saturday's drawing were 22-32-37-44-50 and Power Ball number 34 and her ticket matched the first five numbers.
Lottery officials say Jenkins allowed the computer to randomly select the numbers on her ticket, which was one of five tickets she bought at Mosby Meadow Market in Culpeper. The store will get $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The next drawing is on Wednesday. The jackpot has grown to an estimated $425 million, which is the largest Powerball jackpot ever and the second largest jackpot ever in North America.
