ARLINGTON, Texas (WUSA) -- The Washington Redskins shocked the football world, including the Dallas Cowboys, in the first half of Thanksgiving's matchup at the new Cowboys Stadium.

QB Robert Griffin III had a 158.3 quarterback rating in the first half by going 11-14, with 208 yards and three touchdowns to three different receivers.

Aldrick Henderson started the 28-point second quarter with a 69 yard TD on a confused Cowboys secondary. That play, along with a Dez Bryant fumble on Dallas's next possession, opened the floodgates to the quarter.

Tony Romo threw for 441 yards on 37-of-62 passing with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the setback. The Dallas signal-caller had been undefeated in his previous five starts on Thanksgiving Day.

Dez Bryant hauled in eight passes for 145 yards and a pair of scores for the Cowboys (5-6), who had won their last two games.

Griffin finished 20-28 with four touchdowns and one interception and 311 yards.

The Cowboys outscored the Redskins 28-10 in the second half, but the Redskins held on to win 38-31.
