WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - A man sustained a head injury on the tracks at the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station on Wednesday night, according to a Metro spokesperson.
At about 8:05 p.m., Metro received a report of an injured man at the station.
The man was injured on track #1, which is the track headed toward Silver Spring, according to the spokesperson.
Dan Stessel of Metro said that after reviewing video of the incident, it appeared that the man was on the platform and then appeared to stumble into the train as it was leaving the station.
He was taken to the hospital with a head injury and is listed in stable condition.
