Police Looking For Carjacking Suspects In Md.

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WUSA) -- Police are looking for suspects and a car after a carjacking in the parking lot of the Iverson Mall.

According to police, two suspects approached two different people who had parked their cars at 3500 Branch Avenue at approximately 10:15 a.m. Police say one of the suspects had a black revolver.

One of the victims was able to escape the would-be carjackers by fleeing in his own vehicle. The second victim struggled with one suspect and lost his keys and phone. The suspect then drove away in the victim's 1997 red Plymouth Neon. Police are looking for the stolen car, with license plate 3AD6584.

One suspect was described as 5'6" tall with a heavy build, wearing a black hat and a black and gray shirt. The other suspect, who was armed with the revolver, was wearing all black and was approximately 5'9" tall.
