SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA) -- Prince George's County police say they have arrested an Upper Marlboro man in the fatal shooting of Sharod Darnell James in Seat Pleasant, Md.
Twenty-four-year-old Lawson Mahdi is charged with second degree murder and related charges.
Thirty-one-year-old Sharod Darnell James was found shot last Friday at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Highway. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police continue to investigate the case.
