DAMASCUS, Md. (WUSA) -- Take a look at these photos of two people who may have stolen credit cards from a car parked at Damascus Elementary School in Damascus and from a car at a home in Olney on October 25.
Montgomery County police say sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. a man and woman may have taken the cards from a purse on the driver's seat that day. The driver says she locked the car. Her car did not appear to have damage. That night, police say the suspects also stole money and credit cards from a purse on the passenger seat of a car parked in the driveway of a home in the 3800 block of Old Baltimore Drive in Olney. Again, the victim said she locked the car and no apparent damage was found to the vehicle, according to police.
Police say that the credit cards were then used at several stores. The cards stolen in Olney were used at stores in Rockville and Wheaton. The cards from Damascus were used in Frederick. The photos released of the man and woman are from store surveillance footage.
