CHILLUM, Md. (WUSA) - A death investigation has turned into a murder investigation.

Prince George's County Police say they responded to reports of a shooting on Charleston Place and Drexel Street in the Lewisdale neighborhood around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found a man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators are still trying to determine a motive and suspect information.
