BOWIE, Md. (WUSA) -- Prince George's County State Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says jury selection is underway on Thursday in the trial of a Bowie State University student accused of killing her roommate last year.
In October 2011, Alexis Simpson was indicted for first degree murder in the death of her Bowie State roommate Dominique Frazier. She was also indicted on a weapons charge.
She is accused of fatally stabbing Frazier in September 2011 following a fight at The Christa McAuliffe Residential Community building. They were both second year freshmen and reportedly were not getting along before the night Frazier was stabbed to death.
