2 Suspects Sought In Va. 7-Eleven Robbery

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Two people who shoved a clerk to the ground and robbed a 7-Eleven last month are shown in a surveillance tape released by Alexandria Police on Thursday. Police are hoping someone will recognize the robbers and contact police.

Two people robbed the 7-Eleven at 4610 Kenmore Avenue on Oct. 30, at 3:17 a.m. According to police, one person jumped over the counter while the other walked around the counter and grabbed the clerk. The clerk was held at gunpoint while the first person went for the cash register. The clerk was pushed to the ground before the robbers ran out of the store, say police. The clerk was not seriously injured.

The first suspect is described as "a dark skinned black male, 5'9" to 5'11", weighing 160 to 180 pounds." He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, a black puffy NorthFace jacket, black jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as "a dark skinned black male, 5'7" to 5'9", weighing 160 to 180 pounds."  He was wearing a red hat, a black jacket with white stripes down both arms, dark pants and dark shoes.
