James Gough, charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer in Prince William Co.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- A man already brought to the hospital by police earlier on Sunday for an evaluation reportedly became agitated and then wrapped his legs around an officer. He was later charged.
Police say on Sunday at 5:15 p.m., officers went to the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center on Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge for the report of a disorderly subject. Thirty-seven-year-old James Archedlaus Gough became upset and wrapped his legs around an officer, leading to a brief struggle before he was detained, according to police.
No one was injured, say police.
Gough was charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer.
