Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Peyton Manning overcame two second-half
interceptions by throwing for three touchdowns as the Denver Broncos downed
the Cincinnati Bengals, 31-23, on Sunday. Manning completed 27-of-35 passes
for 291 yards for Denver (5-3), which has won three straight. Eric Decker
caught eight balls for 99 yards and two scores, while Demaryius Thomas
finished with six receptions for 77 yards for the AFC West-leading Broncos.
Andy Dalton went 26-for-42 through the air for 299 yards with a touchdown and
interception for the Bengals (3-5), who have dropped their last four. Jermaine
Gresham paced all receivers with 108 yards on six catches. A.J. Green added 99
yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in defeat.

scores on Sunday, as the Houston Texans continued their best start in
franchise history with a 21-9 triumph over the Buffalo Bills at Reliant
Stadium. Schaub finished 19-of-27 passing without an interception and Arian
Foster carried the ball 24 times for 111 yards and a touchdown for the Texans
(7-1), who own the best record in the AFC. Andre Johnson hauled in eight
passes for 118 yards, while Owen Daniels and Garrett Graham each added a
touchdown grab in the victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 25-of-38 passes for
239 yards, but the Bills (3-5), were unable to get the ground game going as
they rushed for just 78 yards en route to their fourth loss in their last five
games.

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - A stifling defense combined with a career
game from Mikel Leshoure led the Detroit Lions to a 31-14 win over the
Jacksonville Jaguars. Leshoure found the end zone three times in the second
quarter and finished the contest with 70 yards on 16 carries while the
Detroit defense limited Jacksonville to just one first down in the first
half and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter with a sack and two
interceptions. Matthew Stafford went 22-for-33 with 285 yards, Calvin
Johnson had seven catches for 129 yards while Joique Bell added 13 carries
for 73 yards and a score for the Lions (4-4), who have won their past two
games to get back to .500 on the season. Blaine Gabbert passed for 220 yards
as he went 27-for-38 with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the
Jaguars (1-7), who have dropped their past five games.

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Brandon Marshall hauled in nine passes for
122 yards and three touchdowns and the Chicago Bears defense forced five
turnovers en route to a 51-20 drubbing of the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Charles Tillman had nine tackles and forced four fumbles and Matt Forte rushed
for 103 yards and a touchdown. Jay Cutler was 19-for-26 through the air for
229 yards and three touchdowns for the Bears (7-1), who haven't lost since a
Week 2 setback in Green Bay. Brian Urlacher returned an interception for a
touchdown in the win. Chris Johnson rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on 16
carries, but lost two fumbles, and Nate Washington had two catches for 35
yards and a score for the Titans (3-6), who will travel to Miami to take on
the Dolphins next week. Matt Hasselbeck, who has started the last five games
in place of an injured Jake Locker, completed 20-of-35 passes for 194 yards, a
touchdown and an interception in the loss.

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Joe Flacco connected with Torrey Smith late
in the fourth for the go-ahead score and the Baltimore Ravens avoided a
collapse in Cleveland, defeating the Browns, 25-15, on Sunday. Phil Dawson
kicked a 41-yard field goal, his longest of five makes on the day, to give
Cleveland a 15-14 lead in the fourth, but Flacco drove the Ravens down the
field on the ensuing possession, capping the drive with a 19-yard touchdown
pass to Smith. The Ravens offense did not pick up a first down in the second
half until the go-ahead scoring drive. Flacco finished 15-of-24 for 153 yards,
while Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce each had rushing scores for the Ravens
(6-2), who defeated the Browns for the 10th straight time. Rice led the Ravens
rushing attack with 98 yards on 25 carries. Brandon Weeden moved the ball down
the field most of the day, but was never able to get the Browns' (2-7) offense
into the end zone. He completed 20-of-37 throws for 176 yards with two
interceptions for Cleveland, which was coming off a win against the San Diego
Chargers. Trent Richardson ran for a game-high 105 yards on 25 carries for the
Browns in the setback.

Landover, MD (Sports Network) - Cam Newton threw for 201 yards and a
touchdown, while rushing for another score, as the Carolina Panthers upended
the Washington Redskins, 21-13, in Week 9 action. DeAngelo Williams also
crossed the goal line on a rush and Jonathan Stewart totaled 51 yards on 10
carries for the Panthers (2-6), who snapped a five-game losing skid. Steve
Smith contributed 41 yards and a TD reception on three catches. Robert Griffin
III finished 23-of-39 passing for 215 yards, adding 53 yards on 11 carries for
the Redskins (3-6), losers in three straight contests. Evan Royster posted the
lone Washington touchdown and Kai Forbath booted two field goals in defeat.

Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes,
two to Randall Cobb, as the Green Bay Packers kept their winning streak going
with a 31-17 victory over the reeling Arizona Cardinals.Rodgers only completed
14-of-30 passes for 218 yards with an interception, but connected with Tom
Crabtree on a crucial 72-yard score after the Cardinals pulled within seven
late in the third quarter. Green Bay had a rare advantage in the running
game, outgaining Arizona, 176-54, on the ground. The Packers (6-3) head into
their much-needed bye week riding a four-game win streak. Already without
several key players due to injury, Green Bay saw linebacker Clay Matthews
(hamstring), wide receiver Jordy Nelson (ankle) and offensive tackle Bryan
Bulaga (hip) all exit early. Arizona (4-5) is also off next week, but it must
recover from a different kind of ailment -- a debilitating five-game skid
after starting the season 4-0. John Skelton was 23-of-46 through the air for
306 yards with an interception and a touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald in
defeat.

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Andrew Luck threw for an NFL rookie-record
433 yards and won the battle with fellow first-round draft pick Ryan
Tannehill, as the Indianapolis Colts earned a 23-20 victory over the Miami
Dolphins in a battle of surprising teams at Lucas Oil Stadium. Neither team
was expected to be over .500 entering Week 9 of the NFL season, especially
with rookie quarterbacks at the helm. Only one team left the field with a
winning record, however, as the Colts (5-3) won their third straight and the
Dolphins (4-4) had a three-game win streak stopped. Luck, the top pick in
April's draft, completed 30-of-48 passes with a pair of touchdowns for the
Colts and directed a 13-play, 69-yard drive that ended with a 43-yard field
goal from Adam Vinatieri that provided the winning margin with 5:58 remaining.
Tannehill, selected eighth overall, finished 22-of-38 for 290 yards with a
touchdown in defeat.

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Philip Rivers threw as many touchdowns as he
did incompletions on Thursday night, as the San Diego Chargers pounded the
Kansas City Chiefs, 31-13, in an AFC West clash at Qualcomm Stadium. Rivers
completed his first 13 passes and finished 18-of-20 for 220 yards, two
touchdowns and an interception for the Chargers (4-4), who snapped a three-
game losing streak. Ryan Mathews added 67 yards on 13 carries, while Michael
Floyd and Antonio Gates each hauled in a touchdown pass for San Diego. Matt
Cassel passed for 181 yards and an interception on 19-of-29 passing for Kansas
City (1-7), which has now dropped its last five games. Dwayne Bowe caught
eight passes for 79 yards, but the Chiefs gave the ball away four times in
Thursday's setback.
