WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Power outages in Delaware have risen during the night, but no deaths or serious injuries have been reported.
Jill Fredel, a spokeswoman for the Delaware Emergency Management Agency, says about 45,600 people were without power as of early Tuesday. Most of the outages were in northernmost New Castle County.
Fredel says winds had died down enough to allow Delmarva Power to resume repairs using bucket trucks in New Castle and Sussex counties.
