CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (WUSA) -- A Capitol Heights woman was charged with making a false report to a police officer after allegedly reporting that her kids were inside her stolen car so police would respond faster, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. According to police, if convicted she could serve six months in jail and have to pay a $5,000 fine.
Thirty-three-year-old Deborah Fashakin's car was stolen from a gas station in the 6400 block of Central Avenue on Sunday evening, say police.
She is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
