WASHINGTON (AP) -- District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray has unveiled plans for a new pavilion at St. Elizabeths Hospital, a psychiatric institution in southeast Washington.
The East Gateway Pavilion will be a place to dine and will also offer a farmers' market and other weekend arts and cultural events.
Gray said Saturday that the pavilion would be designed by an alliance of firms - KADCON, Davis Brody Bond and Robert Silman Associates.
It's part of a wide-reaching development of the St. Elizabeths campus.
