WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - A woman was shot in the 4200 block of South Capitol St. SE on Wednesday night, according to a spokesman for MPD.
At approximately 9:58 p.m., officers called to the scene arrived and fond an adult female who had been shot. She was conscious and breathing when she was taken to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Police have no suspect and no motive at this time.
