Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed kick
returner Micheal Spurlock.
Spurlock was released by San Diego on Wednesday after appearing in four games.
He had one punt return for eight yards and made one special teams tackle.
The 29-year-old veteran from Ole Miss has also played for Arizona, Tampa Bay
and San Francisco since 2006. He has averaged 25.1 yards with a pair of
touchdowns on 73 career kickoff returns and has averaged 8.1 yards with a
score on 42 punt returns.
In addition, Spurlock has also caught 23 passes for 294 yards with two
touchdowns.
The Jaguars also promoted defensive end Ryan Davis from the practice squad to
the active roster and waived offensive lineman Daniel Baldridge and defensive
end Aaron Morgan.
