ODENTON, Md. (AP) - The Anne Arundel County fire department says a large fire ripped through an apartment complex in Odenton, forcing 24 units to be evacuated.
Lt. Cliff Koofer, a department spokesman, tells The Baltimore Sun (http://tinyurl.com/92rfjja ) that firefighters were called to the building in 2000 block of Military Place about 6:05 p.m. Sunday and battled the fire for several hours.

Koofer said he did not know how many apartments had been damaged.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
