According to witnesses, a 1999 Ford F-350 pickup truck was traveling north on Route 17 when it suddenly sped up and crossed into the southbound lanes. The pickup, then heading the wrong way in the southbound lanes, then struck head-on a southbound 2003 Ford F-350 pickup truck.
