Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller
returned to practice Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday with a shoulder
injury.
Spiller, who's totaled 308 rushing yards and averaged 9.3 yards per carry over
the season's first three weeks, left Sunday's 24-14 victory over the Cleveland
Browns in the first quarter after injuring his shoulder at the end of a 25-
yard reception that was negated by a holding penalty.
He did work off to the side with the Bills' strength and conditioning staff on
Wednesday, and was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Fred Jackson, who has missed the last two games due to a sprained knee, also
practiced in a limited capacity for the second straight day.
He has not played since leaving the Bills' season-opening 48-28 loss at the
New York Jets on Sept. 9 in the second quarter.
In other injury news, cornerback Leodis McKelvin (groin) returned to practice
after sitting out Wednesday, while wide receiver Ruvell Martin (ankle) missed
his second straight day.
