DUMFRIES, Va. (WUSA) -- A Woodbridge man was charged with brandishing a firearm after allegedly pulling a gun on another driver in Dumfries, Va.

According to police, 53-year-old Dennis Lee Murray was traveling on Dumfries Road near I-95 on Monday afternoon when he was cut off by a tractor trailer. Police say Murray went up to the driver's side of the tractor trailer and "became irate."

Sometime during the incident, Murray allegedly went back to his car and took out a firearm, pointing it towards the 59-year-old tractor trailer driver. Police say, however, now shots were fired.

After police investigated the incident, Murray was arrested and charged. He has been released on a $2,500 unsecured bond and is set to appear in court on November 5.
