BRISTOW, Va. (WUSA) - A Virginia man has been arrested after the abduction of a 22-year-old Manassas woman, according to Prince William County Police.

Anthony Dwayne Nelson, 24, of Bristow  was arrested after a woman reported that on Sept 22 at 7 a.m., she was in front of  residence when Nelson, a well-known acquaintance, assaulted her and forced her into a vehicle.

She told police that while he was driving, Nelson continued to assault her, then ordered her to go into an address in the 2300 block of McClellan Ct in Dumfries.

She sustained minor injuries but was eventually able to report the incident to police. Nelston was located on Wellington Rd and arrested. He is being held without bond with a court date of Nov. 29.
