Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said
cornerback Darrelle Revis would be limited in practice on Wednesday as he
continues to recover from a mild concussion that forced him to miss last
Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.
Ryan also indicated that Mark Sanchez would be receiving treatment for lower
back tightness, but added that the quarterback would be a full participant in
practice Wednesday as the Jets prepare for Sunday's game against Miami.
"I don't think it's that serious," Ryan said Wednesday.
As for Revis, Ryan said the superstar corner had not yet been cleared for
contact and noted that the team will see "how that progresses" as the week
continues.
Revis was hurt during the season opener against Buffalo when he was kicked in
the head by teammate Bart Scott.
Ryan also said tight end Dustin Keller and linebacker Bryan Thomas would miss
practice Wednesday with hamstring injuries that kept both out of last week's
game.
