MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County Police are searching for the suspect of a Sprint store assault and robbery.
On Sept. 17 at about 5:52 p.m. police responded to the store located at 7430 Sudley Rd. in Manassas. According to police, the clerk confronted a man in the store after the noticing the suspect was attempting to steal a phone by cutting the package with scissors.
When the employee confronted the suspect, he swung the scissors at the clerk and ran out the store with phone in hand worth $650 dollars.
The suspect is described as a black male, 17 ti 25 years of age, 5'9" , 175lbs, medium build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt, khaki shorts, black cap and a dark colored backpack.
