Victim Pulled From Car, Forced To Lie On Ground During Robbery, Car Theft In DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- D.C. police are looking for two men who they say committed an armed robbery and car theft on Monday night in Northeast.

According to police, the victim was sitting in his car in the 6100 block of Eastern Avenue, NE at approximately 11:45 p.m. when two males walked up to him. The first male went to the driver's side of the car with a gun and the second male opened the passenger's side door and got into the car.

Then, according to police, the victim was pulled out of the car and   told to lie on the ground.  The male who was on the driver's side of the vehicle then took the wallet from the victim's pocket and his cell phone out of his hand.

Next, both men fled in the victim's car south on New Hampshire Avenue. 

The first suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion between 5'5 to 5'6 tall and approximately 155 pounds with a thin build. He also had shoulder length dreads and a mustache. He was wearing a black jacket with hood and was carrying a black, semi-automatic handgun.

The other suspect is only described as a black male.

The car is still missing. It is a 2002, gray Nissan Altima with 4 doors and Maryland license plate 6AR7944.
