WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- The history of women in music is on display at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
The exhibit, Women Who Rock, chronicles the journey of singers such as Bessie Smith, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood and Lady Gaga through their clothes, instruments and their journals.
Curator Kathryn Wat walked us through this exhibit.
Women Who Rock is at the National Museum of Women in the Arts through January 6, 2013.
