Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills placed wide receiver
David Nelson on injured reserve with a torn ACL in his right knee Tuesday.
Nelson suffered the injury during Buffalo's 48-28 loss to the New York Jets on
Sunday.
The 25-year-old, who had a career-high 61 receptions for 658 yards and five
touchdowns last season, caught two balls for 31 yards against the Bills.
The Bills signed running back Johnny White to fill the roster spot.
White appeared in 12 games for Buffalo last season, recording 12 carries for
38 yards.
