Renton, WA (Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn
Lynch is questionable for Sunday's season-opener against the Arizona Cardinals
due to a back injury.
Lynch, who signed a multi-year contract extension with the team in the
offseason, took limited reps in practice on Thursday and Friday.
In 15 games for Seattle last year, Lynch posted 1,204 yards on 285
carries to go with 12 touchdowns.
Lynch became a fan-favorite in Seattle after he routinely broke huge runs and
squeezed out of almost inescapable tackles to lift his team, something he
affectionately called "going beast mode."
Tackle James Carpenter (knee), defensive end Greg Scruggs (hamstring) and wide
receiver Golden Tate (knee) are all out for Sunday's game.
