STERLING, Va. (WUSA) -- Loudoun County authorities say a man and two teens were caught Thursday after a smash-and-grab larceny at a Dulles Town Center jewelry store.
According the sheriff's office authorities, two males went into Fink's Jewelry store at the Dulles Town Center at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday. One of them reportedly used a small blunt object to damage a glass jewelry case. Then the other male grabbed several watches, at over $100,000. They then fled the store.
A Loudoun County Sheriff's deputy later spotted the vehicle they allegedly fled in traveling westbound in the area of Route 7 and Battlefield Parkway. After a traffic stop, the three suspects were taken into custody.
Twenty-two-year-old Deandre T. Magee of Hagerstown, Md, was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Officials say Magee remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from Michigan were charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, and destruction of property. They remain held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
