BEL AIR, Md. (WUSA) -- Maryland State Police say they have identified the vehicle and driver in the hit and run crash that injured a woman in Harford County on Monday night.
Twenty-eight-year-old Susan M. Gorgoulianis was struck while walking on southbound Rt. 1 (Conowingo Road) just north of the Hickory bypass. State Police say a 1997 light blue Lincoln town Car struck her. According to police, the driver of that vehicle called them on Tuesday morning after hearing that she had been hit.
State police also say that Gourgoulianis was in a car with a family member before the crash but they had an argument and she was ordered to get out of the car. Later she was hit by the Town Car.
Gourgoulianis has been released from the hospital.
